Judy has been a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist since 2001, coming to the counseling profession after more than 20 years as a Registered Critical Care nurse. As a result, she smoothly blends her understanding of the hard science of medicine with her understanding of the softer sciences of therapeutic psychology—aiming always to help her clients heed the Socratic injunction to “know thyself.” In addition to offering counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, she is also EMDR trained and deeply knowledgeable about psychopharmacology.

Outside the office, she enjoys crime novels, doting on her children and grandson, and (she’s not ashamed to admit) cleaning.
