Counseling for teens and adults as well as couples and have additional training in parenting classes

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with almost 20 years experience working with all age groups. I received my Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Dayton in Ohio and my Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas in Arlington. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers and an EMDRIA Member.

I enjoy counseling teens and adults as well as couples and have additional training in parenting classes (Becoming a Love & Logic Parent), healing from trauma (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Emotional Focused Couples Therapy and lots of Cognitive Behavioral Skills. I blend science and art with eclectic therapies focusing on your strengths and needs–using humor, creativity and compassion to connect.

Specialties include adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, work stress, parenting issues, marital or relationship stress, pre-marital issues, identity issues, spiritual issues, self-esteem issues, trauma or abuse issues, veterans/PTSD, anger struggles, chronic illness, caregiver stress, and aging issues.
