Elise Staab is Licensed as and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Idaho as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). She completed her B.S. in Psychology at University of Idaho and Her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling specializing in Crisis and Trauma Counseling from Walden University. Using an integrated approach, Elise incorporates Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy approaches, as well as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Motivational Interviewing techniques to provide each client a individually tailored counseling process instead of a one size fits all approach. This means that you will be working together to change negative thought and behavior patterns, learning new ways to help you adjust to stressor’s or upsets in you life that are causing you distress, and building your confidence in yourself and your own abilities to use when you decide you are ready to exit counseling. Elise provides counseling service to clients in a relaxing and inviting way that feels more like a conversation with a friend.
