Mario Dartayet- Rodriguez holds an M.S.W from New York University. He is a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker and New Jersey Licensed Social Worker. Mr. Dartayet-Rodriguez is a Certified Sex Addictions Therapist (CSAT) and New York State Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor -Trainee (CASAC-T) and he is a graduate of the Eating Disorders, Compulsions and Addictions Program at the William Alanson White Institute.

Mr. Dartayet-Rodriguez has trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy. He has experience in treating patients with Borderline Personality Disorder, Depressive Disorders and Anxiety Disorders as well. He has additional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Schema Therapy that he incorporates into treatment of addictions and trauma disorders.

He has presented at various universities and helped to train the front line staff at some of the metropolitan area’s largest group homes on how to deal with clinical issues such as managing “transference and counter transference.”
